In some circumstances you may need to submit extra documents:

  • First semester transfer, graduate, or PhD students: unofficial transcripts from your previous and current schools, plus the Official School Certification Form.
  • Graduating before the program starts: proof of continuing education, submitted with unofficial transcripts and the Official School Certification Form.
  • Veterans: unofficial transcripts, Official School Certification Form, and DD-214.
  • Disabled veterans: unofficial transcripts, Official School Certification Form, DD-214, SF-15, and a VA letter dated 1991 or later.

You will need to submit a copy of your DD-214 or other proof of eligibility. Applicants claiming 10 point preference must also submit an SF-15 with the required proof.

3Eligibility

You must be a U.S. citizen or a citizen of a country approved under export control guidelines, hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and be a continuing student. International applicants should convert their GPA using Scholaro. If you do not meet these criteria, please do not continue.

Upload all required documents in English, in PDF format, 15MB maximum each. Redact any Personally Identifiable Information such as Social Security or driver's license numbers. Keep your resume to one page and avoid blurry photos of documents. Responsible use of generative AI is acceptable when integrated with your own original thinking. In your cover letter, name your preferred section and explain how you would contribute and what you hope to learn.
